Our Spagyric Process
Handcrafted by Synergy Alchemy, our mushroom preparations combine traditional spagyric practice with a carefully staged extraction process.
• Three extraction mediums: Water, alcohol and glycerine are used in separate stages, respecting the character of each extraction before bringing them together.
• Soxhlet extraction: Our process incorporates a glass Soxhlet apparatus, which repeatedly cycles solvent through the mushroom material during the relevant extraction stage.
• The mineral stage: Following spagyric tradition, the remaining mushroom material is calcined. Mineral salts are recovered, purified and reunited with the extracts.
• Reunited with care: The separate preparations come together in one finished elixir, expressing the spagyric principle of separation, purification and reunion.
The mineral stage is part of our traditional preparation method. We do not claim that it increases absorption or makes the extract more effective.
