About the Retreat

Join us in General Viejo, Costa Rica for a transformative retreat where ancient wisdom meets modern practice. Over several days, we will explore the art of distillation, alchemy, and spagyrics — ancestral methods of medicine rooted in Egyptian hermetic philosophy.

This is more than a workshop: it is a sacred space to connect with the Earth, commune with plant spirits, and learn intuitively what they have to share with us. Through ritual, creativity, and open‑hearted practice, we will make medicine to heal ourselves and others, while resting and reconnecting with nature.

Every participant will receive:

• Workshop booklet: printed hand‑outs with notes, recipes, and guidance to continue learning at home.

• Hydrosol to take home: a distilled plant water prepared during the retreat, carrying the essence of the plants we work with.

• Hands‑on extractions & preparations: practice making tinctures, glycerites, and spagyric remedies.

• Sacred medicine crafted together: created in ritual, with love and respect for the wisdom of the Earth.

Nourishment During the Retreat

To support your learning and relaxation, we will provide:

• Snacks and herbal teas throughout the sessions.

• A light vegetarian lunch on Saturday, prepared with love and respect for the Earth.

Spagyrics is an ancestral way of preparing medicine, rooted in Egyptian hermetic philosophy. It unites alchemy, plant wisdom, and spiritual practice to create remedies that nourish body, mind, and soul. you do not need any experice to attend this workshop.

About Me

I'm Gisela Lirusso im Founder of Synergy Alchemy, i live in Costa rica, a lifelong student of medicinal plants, alchemy, and natural healing. My journey has taken me through creative exploration, deep connection with nature, and the study of ancestral traditions. With love and respect, I share this knowledge to help others reconnect with the Earth and discover the healing power within themselves.
